Who we are

This website is run by Mirror Mirror Hair & Beauty Salon, 376 Oldfield Lane North, Greenford UB6 8PU, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described below.

What data we use, why, and on what legal basis

• Enquiries by phone or e-mail. If you call or e-mail us we use your name, contact details and the content of your message to answer you and arrange your appointment. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us, or steps taken at your request before providing a service. This website has no contact form.
• Online booking. The "Book now" buttons take you to Fresha (fresha.com), a separate booking platform. The details you enter there are handled under Fresha's own terms and privacy policy; we receive the booking details we need to provide your appointment (performance of a contract).
• Website server logs. Like every website, our server records technical data about each request (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type). We use it only to keep the site secure and working. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• Analytics - only with your consent. If you accept cookies, Google Analytics 4 records how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser) using cookies. If you reject or ignore the cookie banner, Google Analytics is not loaded at all. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in Cookie settings.
• Google map and 360° tour. The Google map is loaded only if you accept cookies or press "Show map"; Google then receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. The 360° virtual tour is loaded from panoramea.co.uk only when you press "Start the 360° tour".

We do not sell your data, we do not send marketing e-mails from this website and we do not make automated decisions about you.

Who receives your data

• Our website hosting provider (servers in the European Union).
• Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC - Google Analytics and Google Maps, only in the cases described above.
• Fresha - when you book online.
• Panoramea (panoramea.co.uk) - hosting of the 360° virtual tour, when you start it.

Some of these providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations (for example for the European Union, or the UK-US data bridge) or by other safeguards allowed by UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries: for as long as needed to deal with them and for our records of appointments.
• Server logs: for a short period, for security and troubleshooting.
• Google Analytics data: up to 14 months. Details of each cookie are in our cookie policy.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you,
• ask us to correct or delete it, or to restrict how we use it,
• object to our use of it where we rely on legitimate interests,
• receive data you gave us in a portable format,
• withdraw your consent to cookies at any time.
